Annual Entrepalooza celebrates entrepreneurship in Siouxland
A multitude of Siouxland organizations will co-sponsor Entrepalooza, an eight-day celebration of entrepreneurial spirit in Siouxland. This year’s Entrepalooza takes place from Feb. 12 to 22. Morningside Senior Wins National Contest for AgTech Startup
Josh Doering, a senior business administration major at Morningside College, won the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization 2016 Pitch Competition. Doering has developed and marketed Seed Slide, a device that allows farmers to safely open and unload large seed boxes. A panel of judges awarded Doering the first-place prize of $3,500 after hearing 80 college entrepreneurs from around the country

2014 Was a Big Year for Startup Successes in Sioux City
Startup Sioux City has seen great growth since it started more than two years ago, but by far the greatest strides – in growth, in recognition and engagement – came in 2014.
