Biz Brew networking event Aug. 29
By Thomas Ritchie
You like beer. Check.
You are creative, care about innovation, entrepreneurship and starting or growing a business? Check.
Then you’re invited to Biz Brew, a networking event, on Aug.29. The event is aimed at bringing together smart people interested in the community, in innovation and in fostering a culture for startup and emerging businesses in Siouxland.
Here’s the cool part: It’s free, and anyone can attend. There are no tickets, no requirements to speak and no business pitch. Just creative minds gathering to share a beer. Or two.
Bonus: Expect some big announcements as organizers and attendees unveil some exciting entrepreneurship initiatives on the horizon for Sioux City and the region.
The current startup community in Sioux City is pretty quiet, but the excitement level is high across the region and the tri-state. Our aim is to bring people together to learn from each other, collaborate on projects and create a positive environment for creating and growing companies.
Whether you’re a seasoned business owner, a young entrepreneur, an investor looking for the next great idea or just a citizen interested in fostering creative endeavors and entrepreneurship, come join us.
Our intent is to attract speakers for future events who can share their business expertise with small and mid-sized companies across the region.
Join us Aug. 29, from 5-8 p.m. (or stick around longer if you like) at Indigo Palette. And bring a friend.
Find an official invite and RSVP on the Startup Sioux City Facebook page. And remember to follow Startup Sioux City on Twitter.
