This course will explore strategies for transferring a business; effective ownership succession plans; the legal and tax aspects affecting business transfer plans; and how to maximize business value. The discussion will also include how life insurance and long term care products can protect and assist in the execution of a succession plan.

This course is valuable to anyone looking to buy or sell a business, as the discussion will focus on what every business buyer and seller needs to know for efficient and effective negotiation and planning.
